Stoke Disaster

Isaac Lundall Wednesday, 23 August 2017

Adrian Laloo is the second gameweek winner in our FPL mini-league, winning 5 ZARs and bragging rights for the week, as well as moving up to third place overall. Ilhaam Geduld again came second in the gameweek, but this time only by 8 points, which lifts him to first position overall. Champion of the first gameweek, Yasien Jaffer, had a poor second gameweek, coming joint 35th, but his imperious performance in the first gameweek allows him to hang on to third spot overall. The full standings for the second gameweek are as follows:

The loss to Stoke City was disappointing, with the Arsenal dominating the game, but our inability to defend a well crafted counterattack proved to be our undoing. Laurent Koscielny will be available again against Liverpool on Sunday, so let's hope that the lads can sort out our defensive frailties and get back on track.
